PROGRAM
Safari Blu Excursion Mida Creek – Departure from your accommodation at 8.30 am to reach the beach where the navigation starts. During the journey it is possible to sunbathe on the wooden roof of the boat. In the period December-January we sail in the open sea, beyond the coral reef, to meet schools of dolphins swimming in the ocean. In the other months, instead, you reach the Watamu Marine Park to dive and snorkel among a multitude of colorful fish.
Anyone who cannot swim can still admire the depths of the park directly from the boat, through its glass bottom.
We proceed with the navigation with a further stop in the blue waters in front of the Garoda resort where, at low tide, real natural pools form between the white sand beach. Even here you can snorkel or swim.
We then set off for the crossing of the Mida Creek canals, discovering a dense vegetation of mangroves and a vast multitude of birds including herons, pink flamingos and birds of prey.
Finally we head to the island of Waka-Waka, where we have lunch with a menu based on coconut rice, octopus sauce, lobster, fresh fish, grilled shrimp, tropical fruit and drinks. On request, lunch can also be served with meat or vegetarian dishes.
After lunch, a Giriama tribe will set up a show of dances and songs typical of their tradition and culture.
Around 3.00 pm you leave the island to return around 4.00 p.m
